Massive congratulations go out to Steve Coleman, Director at Brighter Connections Applications & Analytics Ltd, on completing an epic cycling challenge over the bank holiday weekend.
Steve, who is a keen cyclist, along with his son Joe, cycled from Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh to Twickenham Stadium in London – a total of 450 miles and a gruelling 150 miles a day! If this wasn’t hard enough, much of this was in wind and rain….
What has made this challenge even more inspiring is that Steve underwent a hip replacement back in February. This wasn’t as straightforward as it should have been, so he has only been back in the saddle since early June.
The challenge was carried out to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society in memory of Steve’s father, Mark, who passed away recently. Mark loved rugby and the outdoors, so the challenge was set up in his honour and started and ended at iconic rugby grounds as a tribute.
A huge well done to Steve and Joe on their amazing achievement.
